デモステネスの名言
古代ギリシアの政治家・弁論家。反マケドニアを主張し，アテネの自由を守るよう説いたが、マケドニアによるギリシャ統一後に追求を受け、服毒自殺。その弁論をまとめた『デモステネス弁論集』が刊行されている。
