ジョージ・ハーバートの名言
イギリスの詩人、司祭。機知、奇想、皮肉や特異な比喩等を駆使することを特徴とする、いわゆる「形而上詩人」の一人とされる。聖職者であることから、多くの宗教詩を残した。著書は『田舎牧師―その人物像と信仰生活の規範』『ジョージ・ハーバート詩集』等。
